Leadcore..... If there was ever a subject to cause debate on here then it's the L word ...... Read up on a few threads on here and make your own mind up. If your comfortable using it and happy with it then it's up to you,there will be some that slate you,there will be some that agree with you. I use to use leadcore a few years ago,but if I feel the need to use a leader I use the unleaded stuff. It really is up to you mate

I do my bags like that Jay and have never had a problem with stress on the bag but in saying that I rarely cast over 50/60 yards so giving it the big one may cause problems .... Do any of you put crumb/groundbait in the 1st half inch of the bag,then top up with micro pellet ? I've done it like this for a few years now and like the fact that the hook point is going into a soft area...... And white crumb stands out very visually on darker bottoms...... Proberbly doesn't make much difference but it gives me confidence and that's half the job in fishing

Bar one or 2 games we've been in form all season Dal We had a full choice back 4 out for a month,Suarez banned for the 1 st 5 games and Sturridge out for 7 weeks..... We've had the focus on the top 4 finish without the distraction of euro footy...... But my god we've grabbed it with both hands

Hello Keith Maybe a compromise of a weeks holiday none fishing then a week for yourself on a nice lake somewhere ? I personally couldn't do a fishing holiday with the family.... They'd never see me Still our socials are like mini-breaks anyway

Hello mate and welcome aboard I agree with the lads I wouldn't fish a bait popped say an inch or so over my bag I too only turned my back on pleasure/match fishing about 5 years ago and to be honest I've never looked back .... Why not try a snowman rig or a piece of fake corn on your bottom bait if it's the visual aspect your after .... If it's just a pop up your after try a chod Stick with the forum and you'll learn loads .... Don't be afraid to ask you won't get ridiculed just help Oh and depending on your venue/stock get ready for a few blanks .... They happen As in match fishing keep working at it and trying new things and you'll soon be catching .... The more you put in the more you'll get out .... Good luck
