  1. blimey nick i couldnt fish effectiveley if i was in that bad a mess lol
  2. Braid scisors, lighter, a good range of hooks, 3 different hooklink materials, shots/putty hook rings or silocan tube and shrink tube that will make most my rigs i just but everything though
  3. Yeah seen that to mate although it dont help any new potential members not knowing cost or location etc
  4. Hi all any info on location or membership prices etc!!!!
  5. I've often thought of using a withy with a chod rig, or a chod type rig where I'd normally use a withy. I think the two are pretty interchangeable really as long as its the right swivel for the chod rig. They do the same job, just using a different material. I must say, I like the look of withys. The shrink tubing tucks over the knots nicely, and you don't need to mess around tying neat looking knots in stiff link. Not sure whether the withy would turn as well if the carp took it from the "wrong" way. Really can't think why I think that though. Probably just as good. Im gonna tie one up and see i cant see why it wouldnt though
  6. Yeah just the tubing off the line/leader
  7. still use it combined with a ring swivvel so tangle free realy, it should still spin!!, I dont like my own tied chods there never exactly how i want them with the curve and way the hook sits so thought the shrink tube may be a better presentation
  8. Anyone tried it, does it work and if so any advantages or diadvantages.. I like to modify rigs in my spare time but must be a reason for it
  9. Have a chat with mick(leggs007) he goes rushes often may give you a few tips on how not to catch
  10. A bit more to it with the worms. No cork involved Ill show you at Cromwell Dan Nice one nige
  11. like the worm idea any chance it would work with maggot i dont like cork etc as it looks untidy the way i do it You could mount a cork ball like a popup as normal. Then just glue the maggots to it? Yeah thoguht that but was interested if the worm idea was better, Im gonna do some work on rig's this spring and hopefully get on a few decent waters to try it out

  25. Hi fella have a look at this i try not to use the simple overhand knot when using mono because of the kink of the loop as shown in your picture but if you tie the knot like this it will increase your presentaion loads. Not trying to tell you how to do things just trying to add somethink to your rig?
