  1. You can get it from any stockist at £39.99 for a 5kg bag.
  2. You won’t be disappointed. Let us know what you think of it when you use it.
  3. The trouble with casting in a high arch, for the spomb to open (it needs to land nose first), is that any sort of cross wind will have you dumping bait all over the shop. Before the dot spod came out, I would use a traditional spod if any wind as I am a bit ocd with making sure my baiting is spot on. With the dot spod, you can cast it and hit the clip the same as your ‘fishing’ rods. If you clip up to the distance with a spomb, you have to allow extra yardage because of the need to hit the clip so high up, allowing that nose dive. For me, the dot spod has answered all my questions.
  4. I cover Wigan as well. Got a few shops up that way.
  5. I was in Warrington yesterday. When you up till phil?
  6. I wouldn’t have recognised you without the user name!! Welcome back mate and well done.
  7. I used to think that(not that I use tubing as you know) and use it as one of my many excuses not to like tubing. But then I thought about plastic baits!!!!
  8. Have a look out for one made by alien. They are awesome and reasonably priced too.
  9. I stopped off at the lake on my way home from work on Tuesday. Found some bubbling away on my prebaited spot, so grabbed a rod out the van and chucked one out. Within 30 minutes of driving through the gate, I had found some fish, caught one, packed back up, done my walk around and drove back out!!
  10. One of the reasons I mix two different boilies together in my loose feed.
  11. I’m still in France at the minute but I will try and get something together when I get back. If anyone else wants to continue it for now, go ahead x
  12. I use sprays on my hookbaits, namely pop ups. I keep topping them up and letting them dry in the pot before repeating. I fish silty meres mainly and I want the hookbaits to have absorbed all they can before going out. This should help them becoming tainted by the silt. My zig baits are kept in a solution of neat thaumatin b mixed with water, 50:50. These still have that sweet taste even after being out for over 24 hours. I dont beleive they are a gimmick, if used in a benificial way😘
  13. I know I will sound biased, but for £199, the Titan hide covers everything I want from a shelter. Lightweight (4.4kg), fast to put up (under a minute), super strong and solid as a rock, loads of room both height and ground space for such a small footprint, packs down to 44inch, no need for storm poles. Can add an overwrap, groundsheet, waterproof front or mozzie front. Its a brolly that thinks it’s a bivvy or if you’re the othe way, it’s a bivvy that thinks it’s a brolly!
  14. Get on yonny, get right on!!!!!! Great stuff mate
  15. Three from a 12 hour ‘overnight’ session after the football on Saturday.
