Well I've been busy buying stuff recently 
I now own 3 free spirit helicals,a new okuma 8k, a new atts bite alarm, 20kg of the usual innovate boilies reaper nut mix , match the hatch pop ups and wafters and some RNM 4 colour pastel pop ups, matching pellets, glug, 3 more esp mini butt grips (I now own all 3 sizes 😳) tubing, run rig bits, esp d rig kickers, 6 cans of go gas, korda kickers, oh and 20kg of flaked maize for a cunning plan 🌽
I have sold the xtractors, the crosscast rods and a rod bag, so you can't say I haven't tried to balance it out 😂

Done 9 nights in the last 2 weeks, had an amazing time and met some great people 🤙 lost 4 more carp and had a few more bream on the bank 🤣
Went thru 25kg of boilie and 10kg of tigers 🤣
I'm all out of bait now, need to order some more basemix ingredients and get rolling again 👍

So this never arrived (Barrow Conversions UK Ltd - conversion kit) along with many other unlucky customers.  Looks like my bank is sorting a refund (fingers crossed) but many will be out of pocket.  No answers to emails, phone line down, dreadful company!
Gonna pre-order from CarpPorter hopefully get one for winter/early spring - should have got a whole new barrow in hindsight and stuck with the big boys - not tried cowboys!  Lesson learnt 🤬

I try to use PayPal for as many payments as possible as you do normally get buyer protection.
 

I make sure she has shade, and can reach the water for a paddle.

Not as bright today, and I've been on the receiving end of a heavy shower or two, one while I was walking Sky the 2miles around the lake.

I'm in this month, a lot of hard work for the result so far.
4 hours of raking and baiting with hemp, sweetcorn and boilies on Thursday, this morning I had one of this years stock fish at 15lb on sweetcorn. It went in in January at 11lb 4oz.
I knew there were fish in the area, the young coot that was diving on my baits kept on coming up looking panicked, running away then return to dive again, so the run was not a surprise.
 

Just a little update I'm still at the res, I've lost 4 fish since Thursday, the one on Thursday felt like a really decent fish, was holding out in the water at about 60 yards, managed to get it a bit in a bit further but the hooked pulled, then lost another 3 due to hook pulls.
Personally I think it's down to me and not the tackle, I was in between 2 other anglers and was probably putting a bit too much pressure on the fish to stop it kiting and wiping out their rods.
Anyway I'm on the end of them now and here for another night. Was really quiet last night but the conditions have changed, a bit cooler with wind and cloud. Hopefully I can get one on the bank before I leave tomorrow 👍

Oo ek, what happened there, was that when you fell over your gear ?

A PB and one off the bucket list with a 12lb 12oz Bream and it was a a privilege to see one finally, had it on the carp gear which was a pity. 
 
Linear has been good to me over the years with the 3 Roach over 2lb in a mad 30mins spell,, Common Carp 46lb and now the Bream.

Ran out of bait and the nearest tackle shop is over an hour away, bought some pony cubes from an animal feeds store. And some tinned corn, cannellini beans, red kidney beans and chick peas.

Chucked some in and it sinks fine, silvers have moved in on it already 🤣
 

I've got the one that puts out just a single flame not the 3. Been a good little cooker so far if you use the flame correctly.

Turn it right up and it's like a jet engine. Had it for over 6 months.
£21 for 6 big cans. 

Mine also came with a adapter to use the skinny gas cans

Think my Txi'ds are 2 and ½ years old now, been out in some serious weather, plenty of rain, and extreme heat. About the only thing they haven't been subjected to is cold weather as I haven't done much winter carping for a while, its been no fishing or pike.
I've replaced the receiver battery twice, and just gotten the low battery warning on 2 of the alarms, so I really must dig the new Duracell Pro batteries  out of the kitchen draw.

Yeah mate I think they are the same lol, it's a nice burner you can open it right up it goes turbo 🤣 but probably not very efficient on the gas lol
