I used a safe zone leader but found the braid cut into it not very confidence building, what bottom are you using it on? This can also play a part in your choice the reason I chose contour is because I’m in heavy weed ,boulders , roots around the islands there’s mussels in the weed too

I’m using contor it looks like leadcore but is very supple a little tip soak it in the lake while you.bait your hook it will sink instantly hope this helps

My own personal findings are every lake is different I’m on the bank of a lake most days the local match lake they move all yr the parc lake will be about now to coincide with spring the buds are starting on the trees the days are lengthening the birds are starting to sing find an prepare a few spots you can keep an eye on mr an mrs carp will soon let you know butty

I was filming today ouch it was so murky it was only clear a few inch’s off bottom there is a lot of flow coming off the mountains tho so it’s understandable ouch

You know it ouch I’ve a tendency to go to the Asian wholesale market for my belchan an fish oils etc and there’s a Indian spice shop I use to get my spices I just luv the smells in them places
