It’s the same where I’m fishing only difference is I lost one Saturday to hookpull due to the weed devastation was an understatement but it just makes me more determined I’ve ordered a weed rake cutter and a castable rake now what I am going to do is put the rods out straight after raking give it 2 hrs and see what occurs keep at it, if you feel defeated and no confidence then your on a lose from the start, it may be your just not on fish or they may even still be holed up it has been cold also they fisheries being closed and no food going in or leads keeping them moving I don’t think has helped matters. DONT lose hope it will come

This particular lake hasn’t got a hotspot they do get caught but mostly all over bearing in mind I’m still learning the place and have only seen one carp landed with my own eyes other than that there’s not a lot I can say

good advice ouch it will come as ouch says the lake I’m fishing is chock block with weed even tho it’s died back there’s huge beds drifting I’ve ordered a rake after losing what felt like a new pb yesterday to the stuff I’m a man on a mission while doing this I will of course be chucking out a marker to have a feel afterwards the spots I fished last yr are still there but manky so I know they’ve not been fed on

Not even worth thinking about on my water you wouldn’t be able to keep them out long enough for mr carp to find it the roach an bream stock in this lake is unreal it would be very expensive indeed

The water I’m on at the moment is the same and as I found out yesterday publicly ban so I got told off but exactly the same I’ve seen people filling it in an it’s bream an tench eating it myself personally I’ve dropped to 8 and 10mm steamies and have been putting it here there and everywhere I’ve found them willing to pick up the small food items but leave the 14mm +boilies alone are they clued up I don’t know I’m not an expert another tip go dig a load of worms and I mean a load start by baiting a few spots with chopped worm see if that works

I get severe white finger I know it’s not the same as arthritis but still a nightmare my partner she has crumbling discs she uses cbd 30 ml strength she has five drops morning and at night not the stated 10 it helps her the white finger still a work in progress but it does help

I’m more hopeful today than any day I’ve been here I’ve spread about 2kg of steamies out over a huge area some in weed some not the tuftys an ducks been diving but there’s something down on the bush one as they’re just looking down and the swan but staying away from the spot ooohhh I feel like a kid in a sweet shop 😂😂😂

The friendly swans are looking in good condition he is growing well I’ve watched him from a sygnet an can feed them both by hand

I’m off back to the park lake tomorrow bait up early hrs as not just the coots and tuftys but also the ducks have now jumped on the bandwagon and started to wipe me out this bait seems to get everything on the feed I just hope mr carp has been finding some

You won’t find many if any with a sell by date I only know of 1 and that would only be a self blog so don’t count

I do it slightly different if you tie the ring to the original hair and trim it off tie a knot less knot as normal,you can still change hair length on the ring just saves having a bead on the hook

Depending on what I’m fishing over I’ve used both tbh but I find that I seen to be using the combi as my go to rig for some reason

I’ve BAF for a few yrs now never had a problem with quality at all
