    The lake I fish the hard spots are where everyone fish and not a lot gets caught. Myself I fish the end of the weed or behind a weed Bed in the silt I’ve yet to land one but have had 7 takes so I’m doing something right

    It is technique but you got to have the gear that can achieve those distances I was lucky my uncle used to take me sea fishing so learnt to cast very early in life 🤫

    I’ve just come back from baiting up even tho I can’t fish the lake as it’s closed but I know I’m the only one baiting and I know it’s being eaten but I’ve been trickling my boilies in for the yr so far anyway I just don’t tell no one same as I’d not say if I’d caught unless it was my first 40 or pb common

    I’d go for the penn all day long they are built to take a hammering an still keep going and they cast a dream I’m only small and I can cast my mucka 170 yrds with pva bag included

    The smart liquid is ok but for the price a bottle of cheap baileys an a tin of condensed milk does the same thing plus it goes in coffee smart liquid don’t😂😂

    Said bait can me mushed by hand and added to some other bits as a ground bait which can be deverstating elmo

    If you want to wash out your bait but keep the flavour use baileys or vodka with condensed milk soak for at least 24 hrs an your good to go hope this helps it’s done me well in the past

    You can mix the combos together some anyway the berry an pineapple go well but if I’m honest to achie a washed out bait will be hard they do have a tendency of adding colour rather than take it away
