Done a bit of a Boo Boo really 🙄 Fitted Reels to Rods, Awesome....Now my 3rd rod (spod rod) won't fit in. Done a bit of pimping too, with Fresh Sprays, also some HEAVILY glugged Hard Hookers. All Manilla, except the Pink n Orange.

1 of the reels wasn't "Clicking" on clutch....So I've removed the spool, emptied the spools washers and the ice washers were dripping in oil/grease. So I removed them, gave them a clean and I thought clean under the spool, noticed something wasn't right, and noticed the Drag Clicker was backnto front made them both the same and now Clicking like new.

Managed to wangle 2x Shimano Ultegra 14000 with spare spools and reducers......someone wanted to swap for my Daiwa Crosscasts 🙄🙄

Mate was out yesterday for the day, used his Wolf Competition Spomb for the 2nd time, after about 4 casts it all broke 🙄🙄 It didn't open and on retrieve, he lifter it up, opened to see if anything jammed then the spring flew out, the mechanics had all snapped inside. I've sorted it this morning for him and got him a Performance Spomb on the way from Wolf.

I've only ever got a solicitor once in my old job about 10yr ago, apparently I'd taken twice as many holidays as I was allowed before I left, so he sent me a final bill, we tried to sort between out selves then I got a court letter. BUT he was unaware I wasn't claiming any overtime during week /weekend, was a bout 4 hrs a week, so all comes to all after checking the trakker on the van and tallying with my mileage sheets, the solicitor also verified, he ended up owing me about 2minths wages + inconvenience as a pay out.

A mate had a pair of these and ended up selling em for silly money.

Just been in, what a load of 💩 that place is....out of the reels shown, had the Insurgent 5000 x2 left, felt n looked decent, nice n light, smooth to reel....£80 each, shown em A.D have em on offer £40 each. Manager was impressed n said we can't match that 🤣🤣....bye bye I said.

Around £85 to £100 each.....but I've been asked if I want to swap for my 2x Daiwa Crosscast 45 5000 SCW QD.

I've been looking at the XTB 10,000, the Daiwa Crosscasts are to big (I think) for my transporter. If you zoom in, you can see the rear body odlf the 45 crosscast pushes right back into the rear pocket, but the Vader X Spod reel is bang on, so something along that size I'm thinking.....XTB 10,000...Uktegra 5500 ??

Well, the Inveitable has now happened, Grandad rushed into Hospital with his Hernia, having/had operation as it is strangling his bowls now, Full Time Carers in for mi Nan, Grandad will need Rehabilitation for at least 6x weeks and maybe care after it. Parents still on Holiday while Myself, Wife n Sister try to pick all this up, with all having full time jobs, kids, other commitments after work (10month old banys,coaching football, meetings, Karate). 😓

Just redone all my spod braid, took it all off and re-wrapped it back on, the Braid that didn't see day light, is now onto (fresh). Redone the attaching knot, 4 turn backnto back, 5 turns onto reel, then half a rod drop to spomb. You can see we're the line clip frayed the braid.

I've now found out I can't even fish this now 😭😭😭 Time for myself at moment looks like it will never happen at least in September....I've been on 1 quick overnighter since 7th July, that was by chance..... MIGHT be able for a overnighter on 29th September, as Wife is away Friday, Saturday that weekend, then she's also away for the next 3 weekends after that, so I could have at least 3x 24hrs on the bounce 29th September, 6th October, 13th October.....All Fridays.🤞🤞🤞🤞

What I would give to even do a quick over nighter tonight 😞 It's looking around the 23rd September next out, 24hr Charity Carp Match.

Nevers seen em both at once with 1 angler, but seen em used by different people on same lake.

It's has helped me get to places were the fish are and you can't cast to.
