So would you jus go braid straight through to Spod...with the 2 loop knot ??

Daiwa Black widow G50 spod rod and Sonik Vader X spod reel with 30lb..banana braid loaded. But may change the end Fox Spod to an actual Spomb with the float also...just the attachment arrangement i want properly...probably do the 2 loop knot with a tail rubber of knot and link...with about 2-3 foot rig tubing as protection.

Hi Guys...last time i was out i used my spod rod for 1st time n wasnt really keen the way spod was attached...basically spomb was attached using a palomar knot straight through... Would this be ok ??? but doesn't state what knot would be suitable.

All pallets were treated too before laying...leveled out...reinforced...around 800kg when filled (i think)

Not bad for 4 days work... Day 1..few pallets home from work and layed a level base. Day 2 & 3...25 x 3m decking boards gone on with facia too. Day 4 (today)...3 coats of No Nonsense decking oil... Below is what will be going back on..

The NEWngt alarms do have a resemblance to delks in my opinion...they were on show at the Northern Angling Show...didn't really like em... Had the TFgear Mag rollers...1 case leaked and had a loose wire...so i soldered back in place and rewaterproofed before passing in to a friend.

Have the Sonik SKS 4 Alarms..Receiver n Bivvy light. The bivvy light lights up to the colour of what the alarm has a run on it...but i never have the bivvy light on...cant fault them really...dropped in lake n still working...could di with a case though like Delks n Fox alarms. You can get a set of 3 with reciever n bivvy light for around £100 if you look propper...
