  1. I've got cash burning a hole in my pkt 😢😢... I'm scouring the sites for either Sonik Spod Rod n Sonik Reel, Bait Boat, Baiting Pole... Also thinking of getting rid of Sonik AXS Brolly, Groundsheet, Storm Poles n pegs to put it to the cash for the Sonik AXS Bivvy.
  2. Only use it on Korda Boom to create stiff loop sections for Spinner rigs and Loop to Loop combi rigs... Only use stiff boom on level underwater grounds.
  3. I know what you mean about starting 😂😂... When I had all my match gear, that was pretty expensive, I mainly had all Maver gear, dearest part was my Maver Medusa Pole @ £500 for 14.5mtr...it was all the older Maver gear... The light green bags with the white writing... Maver seat box with all attachments... Match gear now is Ridiculous priced, poles being upto £7,000...Daiwa & Browning..... Seat boxes £1,000.
  4. Imagine rocking up with the bait boat, Ready to drop my method feeder 😂😂
  5. Bargain that... Still wouldn't mind 1 in my armery.
  6. Not being nosey, but what you pay? Seen 1 other day going for bids, it went nearly retail.
  7. 😂😂😂
  8. Probably be even harder, but it means working for it for the rewards.
  9. 😂😂, Don't think I'll be giving up, probably just be between both for abit.
  10. I've come out with the dog for a walk along canal... See 1 or 2 on the back lake and. Noticed on each peg, every 30mtr or so there's a set of ladders. Also at the hole to have a look. They seem to have reinforced the bank abit and a fella just said there's a sunken boat running the width of the back bank.
  11. I know what you all mean... Me n a mate did a 24hr last year and we landed 21 fish in 23 bites... That was hard work... Think its fact of my 7minth blank 😂😂, but good things come to those who wait..
  12. I think I will have a small setup put to 1 side for a few hours here and there... The best point about Carp fishing is the Night fishing on certain nights when it's really quiet in summer, the sunset in Background and its a nice cool evening, also taking the lad & dog along also.
  13. It's not a full on certain, but I can see where there coming from, I've worked hard for my gear.
  14. Can imagine, no holiday so make there own.
  15. I know what you mean... Im not out this weekend, but week after I've been asked to do some Coarse fishing on a decent match lake... I've got enough Coarse gear for a dabble, float rod n reel, Pole, terminal bits and chair, but that's about it.
  16. Motor home maybe? Like a VW transporter.
  17. Hi All, Recently I've given ALOT of thought to swapping over from the just Carp scene to the Coarse/Match scene. 1 or 2 lads I know have dared the change and they really said it was best thing they have done. Instead of just waiting for a Beep, on a box/chair, constantly busy,... Sure Carp fishing you can go and find spots/stalk. I keep looking at Full Match setups, some even state "Swap for Carp Gear". I have found 1 listing and EVERYTHING is from Maver... Box, Holdalls, Carryall, Nets, Bags, Rods, Poles... Etc etc.
  18. For the price I'm surprised you don't get an app/phone number so you can be guided on how to tutorial from Trakker.... Or even a GPS signal so other Tempest X users can see nearby.
  19. Thinking about it, as it's a full system, with all the bells and whistles... 25,000 HH, but the price 😲😳
  20. OMG....Alk I have to say.... 😲😲 https://johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/trakker-aquatexx-ev/23622-trakker-tempest-x-100-dpm-system-aquatexx-ev.html
  21. She's already asked to remove the Gazebo around the Hot Tub and build a wooden 1 around it attaching to the decking... Like the below..... Basically like the bar but bigger.
  22. I'm out tomorrow hoping he brings it then again... It's not that I'm not able, I have the funds available, but if the wife found out... Its how, when, where from... She knows I wouldn't mind 1...so it MAY also be a sneaky purchase.
  23. Yeh, a mate has 1, I've used it on 2 occasions.... OMG simple is an overstatement, all 1 handed controls, only used the middle hopper, didn't use the rear hopper. This would be no. 1 boat for me to buy, but the boat option has gone out window at moment.
  24. Should be done in 2hrs Elmo, (good drivers are) 😂😂, don't forget your pre start check either 😂😂 Get plenty water down you pal 👍
