Well, past few days has been abit hectic.... Managed to setup my new rods...just need to christen now. Yesterday I've ended up with a Trakker Tempest 200 ( Skull Cap on order also) Past few times out been myself, mate n dog, so be big enough. BUT today ive found out, the freezer at my nans packed in Saturday with 40kg of my Bait in 😭😭😭, some how the dog has also managed to open and this has resulted in rats having a feast 😭😭😭 managed to save 2 bags (10kg).

Well, I've just received the above and are practically like new 😁, was gonna fish with em now while out, but I'll save em.

I'm using now, but changed the Braid to korda braid, mates also using now too.

Tonight I will be changing rod size from 12ft to 10ft, so all my findings in my "book" I will have to redo. Using a bare lead (to me now) is way better than any tech....could show smooth bottom, but is it clay, silt, mud....they are not the most reliable to a bare lead.

On Friday I'll be out about 6pm, but only doing a quick overnighter until about 10am Saturday.... Gonna use the same spod mix as last time, but abit more sloppier. Gonna throw in some Manilla Active Mix powder to slop/stodge it up... Hopefully same result as previous session, 1 on zig, 1 on deck.

It's the brolly, but have the Infill Panel to make it a system. The brolly is 10,000HH, the bivvy is aquatexx version 20,000HH. But yeh, that's the right 1....the Tempest 100T has the same footprint but is 25cm taller. The V2 skull cap also fits the 100 & 100T

I'm at that point again were I'm looking at bivvys, Don't get me wrong the Tempest is great, but I don't rthink it's all that. Quick put up n take down, and built well. But I'm used to a darker bivvy, (light shines through brightly) but with cap on its Ok. I'm just not feeling it, I'm.looking at some of the Aquatex models, Fox Frontier XD, bivvys like that.

I've just done mine this morning.... Ive poured the water it was thawing out into another bucket... Crushed up about half kilo manilla boilies, Poured some Manilla Liquid Food over it all, gave it all a good mix, then poured the water back over it all. Not used the Smart liquid as it smelt abit Vinegary. Added about 100ml Hemp Oil also. Hopefully do a few bites tomorrow (be at lake about 2pm).
