  1. 30 years ago I got the feeling that me and my mate were being watched/stalked by a big cat, but we didn't actually see it. Round the back of the big ski lake at Grenville we found about 4-5 fresh swan kills, together in a corner. Walking past and up the far bank we could hear something following us within the bushes, snapping the odd twig. We fished a few hours and I just got feeling it was level with us and still watching. Fair to say I was nervous but no proof just a feeling. No idea if there have been any sightings in Northants tbh

  3. Knew there was more to Scott's recent zig success than the kickers, thought it was going to be elastic but no it's a stiff hinge hook section with swivel offering much better hooking properties - I assume you've all seen this by now?

Saw these new cool boxes on YouTube last night, 2 sizes very good value, this is the smaller one at under £40, seems great value and looks decent quality - coupled with a couple of thick blocks should be good for a few days - worth a look 👍 There's also a deal on the 2 sizes and blocks for less than £100 https://lidstersfishingsupplies.co.uk/product/lidsters-fishing-deluxe-cooler-ice-box-16l-fits-23-cans-carp-tackle-bait-cool/

  6. No,I'm not talking about the big man with the white beard in the sky! I'm wondering how many of us have seen ,or seen signs of big cats in the countryside.. I'll start...there are lots of abandoned slate quarries nearby, one day a friend of mine wanted to mess about with didgeridoo acoustics, so I suggested this empty quarry ,it's filled up since and now has fish in it,anyway...its sunset ,and we're sitting in this quarry overlooking the Atlantic, looking towards lundy Island..it was awesome. My friend ,John was his name ,hadn't started playing his instrument I know that sounds wrong lol,...so he points upwards and there on the perimeter of the quarry was a silhouette of a very large feline ,it was no domestic cat ,around Alsation size .. We both went ,oh dear or similar and silent as you can went back to our village..I've had other experiences, but let's see if anyone else has first ...

Yes,like Framey says ,Marcus's company Mirage or it used to be Future baits.. I've used a lot of his stuff including the CSL pellets, I found very good, the paste I use a lot ,especially the Ressi special version.. Did you know that Source is the brain child of Marcus, it became Ressi special ,when he had Bait Bunker ,his shop nr the Platt in Wadebridge Kernow, the Rebrander ,I know it as all the different incantations, and still use it all the time ...its very good bait ..in general ..put it this way ,a real good friend of mine ,who makes his living from writing about bait, told me he'd be more than happy to only use his stuff...it utilises lots of Haiths products ... I ordered mine yesterday night ,it came today ,buy hand...lol..I know I'm very lucky...

My twin brother spotted one in Fineshade Woods a few years ago - he's a mountain biker and regularly is out and about exploring hidden trails in the wilderness. If you google it you'll find reports of one spotted quite regularly in that area. My brother knows what he's on about so I'm sold.
