2 nights, no need for a bivvy. Not the tidiest I must admit, but everything is in order and reach

Baseball cap, sunglasses, and already tanned skin, plenty of water. Sky had already been sent into the shade available

Dampen them, leave for 5mins, squeeze into balls and fire out. The balls will break down leaving a nice smell trail, and get the carp hopefully munching everything on top

A village called Komorow in Southern Poland, just West of Tarnow. There's a huge pit on the opposite side of the road which looks incredible to fish. I have done once on a trip when I was younger, just for silvers but I know some big catfish have been caught from it and pike too. Catch and release is becoming ever popular in Poland I have been told, a few places we went which were catch to eat are now catch and release and busier than ever.

So years ago I did actually behave socially 😁and in reality I occasionally still do. This first photo is the first time a group of four of us approached a very special lake, we carried all the gear in for a weeks stay, some 2 miles. Sadly the lake now has a road virtually to it. The next photo is of how I prefer my socials now. Incidentally the hat upon the head some 55 years old and still keeps the rain out, it was worn by a well known angler back in the day, he was the photographer in the first photo, RIP my friend.
