Yes i use a Hawke range finder rf5600 600m/656yd you can range find your marker float. far bank reed beds ect.1 point -
I think I'd be inclined to fish a pop up on a 5-8" hooklength straight off the lead... or a naked chod on a longer than usual hooklink1 point

I have this problem at my lake, looks like the weed as died and drifted over my normally clear spot, Solid bags are my go to method but the rigs are coming in covered in silkweed, I have moved over to helicopter rigs and im back on the fish again.1 point -
