You'll struggle to get decent alarms with tone adjustment for 30 quid bud. Plenty of cheap Chinese options, although quality will be poor. If your Dad can live without the tone adjustment the Fox Micron M+ is a top quality alarm for 30 quid a pop. Nash S5 might be worth a look @ 20 quid but again, no tone adjustment and IMO not as good as the Fox.1 point

Basically trying to look good on the bank without having the functionality of the actual alarm. Another example of carping mentality nowadays. So far removed from what it is all about. Want a delkim? Buy the EV. £50 each. Not a major expense. Kids come first of course they do. My family does, as sole earner I get it. But I'd rather save and buy the real deal. Just my opinion of course.1 point -
