just been browsing barrows to see whats out there, why do none of them have Y bars anymore?

I really don't miss the sides mate. I have the fox bag that sits on the front. The under bag holds loads of kit. All that goes on top is the bed chair, with legs up to form sides, my bait (normally two buckets) and the sleeping my with brolly. One of the best bits is you can access the under bag and the tackle bag without having to offload everything. Ideal for being mobile before settling on a swim for the night.

Was looking at that Nige but want one with sides. Considering the Trakker ones. Like the look of the Nash ones but very pricey and have found other Nash products to be poor quality.

The frame is the same size i think, with the gear you have listed you would get away with the normal, but if you do I would maybe look at a puncture proof tyre as an after throught with going through streets and alleies, the fat boy is designed for larger loads as the wide wheel really helps with stability. The key (and this is with any barrow) is to load it correctly so I would have your bait buckets etc over the wheel.

Hi everyone, my mate and I are planning a 72hr mid week trip in early may away from our normal syndicate water but would like suggestions on a venue please. We don't want it too big 10-15 acres if poss and with a few features to fish too, a good head of mid double and upwards carp and as we live in Norwich, Norfolk somewhere within a 2-3hr drive would be good. We also want to be able to book it so we know weve got swims when we arrive. This is what we would like but our criteria is a bit flexible for the right water. Thank you.
