& i was told not to mention fluro to cm!!!!!! As above although i use no.6 Krank, 3 turn blood, micro swivel on the hook, my method over the suppleness of the braid. I have used IQ2 in the past, but now using Rig marole ( easy to iron out small kinks without the need for steam), they also have braid over fluro, so you can roll up the braid, cut the fluro, push the braid back for the whipping & hair, INSTANT COMBI RIG. I only use fluro now, peace of mind that the rig resets itself should it be disturbed.

Hi Rich , i have no knowledge of the venue mate but theres a possibility you may have answered your own question .The words 9lb , by all accounts , ban on nuts & boilies .....hardly any carpers , .... Just a thought

Went on a 48hour sessions to alderfen with a few mates last week, was fishing for carp but decided to throw a deadbait out to see what happened, and guess what?!!? 4 pike and lost 2. Biggest was 10lb. My mates blanked apart from one who borrowed a treble hook trace and smelt and pulled a little jack out. Sweet

Whatever your feelings on Korda (Rightly or wrongly ) you should watch Underwater 7 and 8. Both are a great watch, in my opinion. We all know that we 'get done' but I don't think we realise how often. It's certainly made me think a lot more about my rigs and their resetting qualities.

Any way you like. It's very versatile. Boilie ingredient. Bait glug. Add it to your maize for 24-48 hours before boiling. Dribble it over your sticks. Add it to your PVA bags...
