blue bell lakes

thinking of going on the bluebell lakes complex for a 48 hour session on the mallard (RUNS WATER)

iv heard its quite weedy is that true?

i would like to know what tatics are are working

and what swims ect.....

extremely at the gate end...(entrance) this time last year but now? thats the best i can say mate cos i aint been since then.

yes iv fished it,its got weed(like every lake)just depends on the time of year as to how much.

 

when i went i fished the north bank on the shallows and the weed covered most of it, but the were loads and i mean loads of carp in it, wade your bait out to a clear spot or cast it right into the stuff, both worked for me.

Pretty much what i thought of the place, nice surroundings, nice pegs (where i was anyway) and an expensive breakfast from the cafe
