pherron
not a massive fan myself - but I am forced to use it in france due to the fishery rules Which RIG TUBING?
trees
Korda by far the best IMO, colours are nicely cammo'd and the bore is just the right diameter, find out which colour would suit the lake you'll be fishing before you go. mick1396
Go with silicon tubing as it`s a finer bore, more supple, and most of them are rated as sinking but put some metal putty on to be on the safe side.
salokcinnodrog
Prefer Solar Tubing Myself, nicely matches the Lake bed. I think they also have the distribution on the Armourtube which I have used.

Guest Anonymous
Although I hate most of there end tackle I must say the korda rig tubing is very good as is the ESP tubing.

trees
Although I hate most of there end tackle I must say the korda rig tubing is very good as is the ESP tubing. Had a look at some of the esp tubing my mate was using on the bottom of one of the lakes we fish, and we were horrified at how much it stood out. Bright green, only cammo'd in very bright green weed. Guest Anonymous
The stuff I use is dark green and sinks like a brick, great stuff:)
mick1396
The silt coloured one seems to blend in the easiest.
courtz
ESP anchor tubing, contains tungsten and is denser than leadcore i used to use it before switching to leadcore sticks to the lakebed like sh*t to a blanket. It's a duller colour too that looks natural and won't reflect light. tight lines courtz
tim_2812
has any1 got any of the new fox tungsten tubing it is so heavy much heavier than leadcore even. it also blends into lakebed nicely
Guest Anonymous
I have used the fox tubing and I like it, with the exception of there hooks all the new Fox terminal gear seems spot on and is a good price to.
gormer
only problem with the fox tungsten stuff is if you stretch it in a snag it doesn't retract to the same size
Guest Anonymous
Is that a problem? not to me as long as its longer than your rig its doing its job. How do you stretch it in a snag anyway.
theshadow
What sort of a length do most of you prefer?I use about two foot.
salokcinnodrog
Depends How long my hooklinks are! If I fish with a short 10-15cms hooklength I'll normally use about a 30cms. If I go up to using 60cm hooklengths then I'll use 120cm of tubing.
jakey
I think that korda tubing is definetely the best, and like salocinnadrog said i also use double the length of tubing to what my hookink is.

elmoputney
try using a pole elastic threader to pull the line through that will make it easier it can get really annoying trying to push the line through
gedjnr1966
will try that thanx for that.
gedjnr1966
will try that thanx for that. will that do the job or will it be hard to pull through?
elmoputney
it should be quite easy and go through no probs its called a diamond eye pole threader i think ands it just a long bit of wire basically with a diamond shaped eye :D on the end which you trap your line in and pull it through :D
mick1396
Gardner make a tube threader and it costs about £2.50 wouldn`t be without one, simple and does exactly what it says.
