I use daiwa sensor for my zif rigs. Size 8 hook with a trimmed down pop up.

I use 12 lb daiwa sensor. I never really have too many problems with doing it. As long as your line is in good condition and the tubing is fairly new it should go through easily. Also when your threading it through make sure the end of the line is cleanly cut.

I think that korda tubing is definetely the best, and like salocinnadrog said i also use double the length of tubing to what my hookink is.

:rolleyes: , that is not true at all. what knot are you using with it? and what flurocarbon was it? I have been using the ghost flurocarbon and have never had no problems with it. I use it in 12lb breaking strain and have landed carp up to 26lb on it. I Dont feel confident using any thing but flurocarbon in the day as i think it stands out alot less that what braid does. But hey evryone has different opinions.

just use the mini gardner rocket pocket on a cheap rod. try and get at leat a 3lb test rod though. Up to you either go braid staight through, or go for the shockleader?

I try and keep them as simple as possible, I will only change the rig if im getting missed takes or not very good hook holds.

Just start off making simple rigs at first mate and the begin to experiment. Do a search on the subject this topic comes up all the time.

Nash fangs and carp r us short shank nailers are the best that i have used. Ive never had one starighten on me.

A running rig is basically a lead that isn't fixed on the line, it can slide freely. Go in to your local tackle shop and ask them to help you out and show you what the running rig consists of. I personaly don't think a running rig would make much difference to you catching. Try concentrating on smaller bait sizes, and maybe you could try putting out a lot of bait out instead of just pva bags. good luck mate :)

Use a longish rig and try using some solar pva foam, this should slow the bait down and give a perfect presentation. good luck:D

Thats carp fishing for you mate, i personally think that blanking makes me more determined to try new methods for the next time im on the water. Never give up! and just keep trying different things, and you will start getting better results.

Nash fangs or carp r us short shank nailers are my favourite choice.

Ive just brought some of the esp strip tease and im well impressed with it. The coating removes easily.

I personally don't use the korda stuff. At the moment im using camo skin which i am really impressed with.

I am also using the short shank nailers by carp r us, they work perfectly with the inturned eye.

Just keep experimenting mate, you could get away with using much lighter flurocarbon than 25 lb though mate. All of the suffix hooklinks are definetely worth a try as well mate. :)

It's got to be tubing for me mate, i don't think you can beat the korda karki tubing. :)

For most of my fishing i use esp ghost fluro carbon. as for hooks i use the nash fangs or the carp r us short shank nailers as they have a slightly in turned eye. People may have different opinions but i think this nails em.

You would be better off either buying the fox or korda inline method feedes mate. they are simler to set up. :D

Ive been using the nash fangs for a couple of months now and im well impressed with them. Just started using the carp r us short shank nailers and i think they are also top notch.

You can't beat the over hand loop for the end of hair rigs. Sounds like you are tying the blood knot which if fine with mono, but not good with braid.
