barbycarphunter
I'm going to be fishing a local water which has banned braid!! What is the best alternative for a hooklink, i dont find flurocarbon much good as it's too stiff, i need something soft, strong and supple, any ideas???? salokcinnodrog
Have they banned braid as a Mainline, as a hooklink or totally? It may be worth having a check on it, as a number of waters still allow braided hooklinks, even though as a mainline it will be banned Mono Hooklinks: https://forum.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=36937&highlight=mono+hooklinks

tonybranno
Because i expect someone in a higher power at babycarphunters lake has heard bad things about braid, had a knee jerk reaction and banned it without looking into it more first. ouchthathurt
i used trilene big game mono hooklinks for ages with no problems. i often start with fluro/mono links anyway due to the popularity of braided/coated hooklinks, its nice to do something different!
