  1. In kent ashford there a place called chequer tree fishery in ashford used to fish there a bit when i was younger,theyve got cabins right next to a lake showers noice place,pub the lot a few lakes,fish to mid 20s sturgeon

  3. I havent watched harry pottin ages,last time i watched it,it was on itv,there good those sort of films,go on along time which makes the day go by
  4. To be honest mate,ive used just daiwa sensor hooklink and its been superb for the time ive used,only had 1 fish snap me up on that and i think it might of been a cat
  5. Good point Jake, Can you please explain why you would change them, as I read it all the time but no one ever gives details as to why? For different situation,ive all ready said that,the type of lakebed im fishing,if the fish are being fussy with the rig,missed runs etc I think noknot ment, What do you do if you are fishing over a specific lakebed, or missing runs or experienceing wary fish..? Lengthen/Shorten? Why would you shorten it? Why would you lengthen it.? edit* as noknot has a name and not called he... I change things abit to the situation

  7. Change my rigs for different situations,some times i could be using a 3inch sometimes i could be using 13 inch
  8. Out of interest, Jake, why are you going back to the Kamasan B775's? Cause the esp ones started getting rust on them after a cuple of days,and i can always rely on the b775 hooks,and they balance perfectly with a 16mm bait Were you aware that Kamasan and ESP are both the same company. I used kamazan b775 hooks size 6 with 16mm baits back in the begining of summer with excellent results,i then changed to the esp size 7 raptors i think they were with 14 mm baits,landed every run i had on those hooks except one,what must have a been a catfish,but ill be going back to the b775 soon
  14. Even with that kind of material,i think he's still gonna get tangles with a shorter hooklink,like i said i had somesimilar stuff,and no matter what i done,it kept geting in a tangle
  15. Change your hooklink mate,im sure its that,i had some similar stuff to that which kept tangling on the cast

  21. West hythe is the place to go mate for the carp,or audagate or in central hythe,thats where the big carp get caught,if i remember correctly theres a carp in there called the pig probably 35+ now. O yeah west hythe has got the dam there which is a hot spot
  22. I had loads of fish on mono hooklinks at the start of season,then the runs started slowing down,switched to flurocarbon esp ghost since then ive had 4 fish
