salokcinnodrog Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 It has been a while since our bankside cuisine has been on show so as Google does not like old threads, I'll start afresh. Last night I had rump steak, so tonight's dinner was the steak trimmings turned into a curry with a diced potato, baby corn, chopped mangetout, fine green beans and half a tin of chopped tomatoes and Garam Masala and a dash of chilli powder. Golden Paws Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 One from last Friday. Goujons and microwave chips (that cook a treat in the Ridgemonkey) and a bottle of Asahi. I don't normally ever take alcohol when fishing but made an exception this time and might make it a feature in the future. Quote

I do confess to a can of cider at lunchtime with a bacon sandwich or two the past few trips. It's been too cold for me to sup a beer at night! I've been resorting to lemon and ginger or orange and peach tea in the evening after dinner. Quote

salokcinnodrog Posted 9 hours ago Author Report Posted 9 hours ago So to start the thread I mentioned the steak, so here is the real deal. And that is a Fishing Dinner: Rare rump steak with mushrooms, sliced green beans and sliced fried potato, a dash of mixed herbs and a crushed clove of garlic. Quote
