salokcinnodrog Posted May 15, 2025 Report Posted May 15, 2025 It has been a while since our bankside cuisine has been on show so as Google does not like old threads, I'll start afresh. Last night I had rump steak, so tonight's dinner was the steak trimmings turned into a curry with a diced potato, baby corn, chopped mangetout, fine green beans and half a tin of chopped tomatoes and Garam Masala and a dash of chilli powder. kevtaylor and Roughtor 2 Quote

Golden Paws Posted May 16, 2025 Report Posted May 16, 2025 One from last Friday. Goujons and microwave chips (that cook a treat in the Ridgemonkey) and a bottle of Asahi. I don't normally ever take alcohol when fishing but made an exception this time and might make it a feature in the future. Quote

I do confess to a can of cider at lunchtime with a bacon sandwich or two the past few trips. It's been too cold for me to sup a beer at night! I've been resorting to lemon and ginger or orange and peach tea in the evening after dinner. Quote

salokcinnodrog Posted June 24, 2025 Author Report Posted June 24, 2025 So to start the thread I mentioned the steak, so here is the real deal. And that is a Fishing Dinner: Rare rump steak with mushrooms, sliced green beans and sliced fried potato, a dash of mixed herbs and a crushed clove of garlic. jh92, kevtaylor and Roughtor 3 Quote
