Korda Hybrid stiff

Has anyone used this? 

I just tried crimping it and it seemed to break fairly easily, I also tied a couple of figure of 8 loops and pulled them still broke quite easily, I usually pull my booms a little harder and they don't break 😱

Is it rubbish or am I just being ham-fisted 😱

I’ve not tried crimping it mate, but I’ve not had a problem with figure of eight loops. They need to be very well lubricated and tightened down gently. In the end I stopped using it for fluro.

I'm using the fluro still, trying the gemini tidy booms today they are nice, 

Another crimpable boom material that doesn't cost the earth is Gardner stiff link 25lb works with a 0.6mm crimp

I used to use it a good while ago now. Never crimped it but found it was OK knotted. Can't recall any failures mate.

Maybe I had my weetabix that day or something 😁 did seem weak though will try again
