bluelabel
2500 size baitrunner... suits it lovely, you could push it to a 4000 size if you wanted too. But the 2500 is nice... my young apprentice has a set of the 6' xtricators and they work well with them Edited July 31, 2020 by bluelabel Its-grim-up-north

bluelabel
If you can find em a Nash BP4 looks quite nifty too, but they have no runner facility although they do have a quick drag

Ninjas are a good choice as will be the gs3 or 4000 which is just a modern ss2600 Its-grim-up-north

Cracking reels and barely any larger than the 2500's. I find them good on rods short or long, great for trotting a float downstream or fishing the close margin with shorter rods. Ian. nigewoodcock
the best reel for a scope rod, Is a scope reel. In the case of a 6ft rod, the GT4000 is the perfect match.
