Dicky123 Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 Guys. I've got some 40lb non lead core from Nash. Could anyone give me a link to a decent splicing clip, never used such a thing before so while I know how to, I'd just like to be 100% sure I'm safe. Thanks all. ****. Quote
yonny Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 You mean a splicing needle? I use the ESP ones. Quote
greekskii Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 Get the fox edges easy splice. No needle, just a fine wire twisty thing. Makes it a doddle compared to a needle. Quote
Dicky123 Posted June 6, 2019 Author Report Posted June 6, 2019 Sorry guys I'm meaning how to do it really? Thanks again. Quote

oscsha Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 I've still got some , I remember splicing a few different braids as well as stichting various ones back onto themselves , in theory as long as there is a bit of give in the braid then you can splice or stitch it as the tighter you pull the tighter it grips . I've been splicing Merlin for years, (since the original olive green and white), probably before Kesmark's Octo-splice, it also works with Silkworm. It is a sneaky way of creating Multi rigs with a simple single tidy knot to the swivel😉 oscsha 1 Quote
Dicky123 Posted June 10, 2019 Author Report Posted June 10, 2019 Just broke the new baiting needle on some braid. What the hell is going on, I'm not that heavy handed, honest! Quote
