anybody use a tri porter or any three wheelled barrow ???

just a quick question any one use a three wheeled barrow are they more stable than the standard barrow feed up of the barrow tipping over 

 

thinking of buying this but don't know if it worth it

Unless your pushing on flat ground the three wheels create more drag , if you push all the weigh forward it sort of defeats the object and can make it more unstable .

Now if you have a powered barrow thats a different ball game all together, it all works extremely well,

Just my experiences with barrows and it inevitably lead to a powered barrow.

Can you not lift the back wheels off the ground in that situation and go for it ? I never really had an issue with one wheel though as long as it was loaded ok it would behave fairly well
