Ginger9991 Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 Can anyone recommend some stage stands? I was looking at the matrix ones but just wondering if there was any other options out there that anyone prefers? Dont want to spend the earth on these as i wont be fishing on platforms to often. Thanks guys. Quote
snoozer Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 I use them when the situation allows as they make a rock solid setup. Purchased the Fox Black Label offerings as they came in about the right price, There are some real tarty looking ones (Nice) but they all do the same thing in my opinion. Quote

InteraX Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 I've got a pair of the Matrix stage stands. Great pieces of kit. The only downside is that you've got to take a screwdriver with you. The supplied screw is a standard Philips. If that's really too much of a hassle for you, there's the Jag stage bite. Very nicely engineered and one part works as a screwdriver, BUT, its £60+ for a pair. They supply a torx bit and a torx headed screw. These will probably work better overall, but I can imagine replacement screws being challenging to source. The bit looked like a standard screwdriver bit, so can probably be swapped out for a Philips or flat head bit of you want. Can't comment on the others but would expect them to be similar to the Matrix. Quote
