I know some people do, some don't, others frown upon it. I only ask as I'm on the broads this summer and I'm unsure whether to fish for them I used to fish 12 months a year for them, you will get some great sport from them in the summer months but please please give them plenty of recovery time. Don't forget they look hard as nails but they are a very delicate fish. Good luck with your fishing Danny. Donnygooner 1 Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted November 9, 2018 Author Report Posted November 9, 2018 A day with the rods and Sky on the river. Hard work today, although a dead roach on the float paternoster produced a nice looking fella. Lip hooked on the top single again. finchey, commonly and Donnygooner 3 Quote
commonly Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 Got a couple of hours dead baiting this afternoon. Buzzing to get on the bank. Taking my 7 year old son, he's as excited as me! Hopefully a pic to follow! Donnygooner, finchey and salokcinnodrog 3 Quote
commonly Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 Nothing on the dead bait. Note sainsburys £1.80 for about 20 spratts, tackle shop £6 for 4spratts! My mate brought the bulldog lure, £12 produced 2 jacks one not much bigger than the lure itself & one about 5lb. No pics at the minute, as I had to hold the bigger one with the kids. Great fun, nice to be on the bank for a couple of hours finchey 1 Quote
