Are you using coated braid? Try cutting the braid at an angle so it shapes the end into a point shape, might work?

matt859
dip the end of the braid in nail varnish and run it through your fingers to get the varnish into the strands, then once its dry cut the braid at an angle. Just dont ask me what I was doing when I discovered that

willi4692
I would be amazed if you couldn't fit it through. Has your knotless knot covered the eye of the hook is some way? Braid is very low in diameter so should be passing through without any issues. I can only suggest using a lighter hooklink.
blanksalot
You could use a knot that doesn't require using the eye some say stronger that a knotless too Used to tie spade ends years ago like this http://www.gofishing.co.uk/Angling-Times/Section/Videos/All-Coarse-Videos/Videos-Search-Results/Techniques/How-to-tie-the-Snell-hook-knot/
