NO that is a death rig mate, you dont need the swivel on the mainline which will trap your hjooklink if you crack off and the carp will have no way of dropping the rig it will just tow the lead round with it and end up getting snagged

Don't mean to be rude but surely you can see that the lead clip is serving absolutly no purpose.

You don't need a swivel on the end of the hook link, in fact you don't need a hooklength. Just have your mainline straight through to the lead with a tail rubber over the knot.If you need to pin the line down put a couple of Korda sinkers under your beads...

Just add I started this post before stoogi, I'm a slow typer

Thumbs up to you carpling for asking the question, u were obviousley unsure yourself! at least you have a better idea now! The thing i do when unsure about rigs or setups is check google images or watch a vid on utube. you can get more info on stuff like this from pics than people trying to explain it!

What's the point of the lead clip, tail rubber & third bead? :?

do a search on here about leadcore mate, i for one think it should be banned but there are still a few people that use it

Yep. Just make sure that the 2nd bead can move freely. You can use pva tape to help keep it in place on the cast.
