If you just want a half decent power pack look at the ANKER 20800 mAh on Amazon. It's about 25 quid and should keep you going through an entire weekend regardless of what you're charging. I got through a whole week in France charging my phone once a day off one of these.

When my wife says "I've had it for ages" she really means just over an hour........

and there's so much fishing stuff in my garage that she'd never notice new stuff. My son also stores his gear in the garage and we're both strangers from the truth when appropriate............

    I think it's disgusting.
I need to check that they got the ringing and whippings right.
I need to check that my reels fit perfectly.
I need to check how balanced they feel with the reels fitted.
I need to check that they fit my rod pod properly.
I need to check that the handles fit in my rear rod rests.

    They just don't understand.

Its not nice to see leafs on the hook everytime you retrieve it. One of my favorite swims is opo an island where the bigger fish patrol is unfishable to me as its swamped with them plus theres a stroung under tow & on top of that its the coots favorite hang out.
Im really hoping my change of tactics & being able to bait up in the dark this weekend will pay off.

I can second the Argos brollies, if you are only doing days the one with sides is ideal and a bargain.

Here's a statement for you fella; it's the best coated braid I've ever used..... and I've used most of them.

The stiffness is just right - enough to kick the link out but settle over uneven substrate. The braid inside is super supple. The coating doesn't split at the knot. It pulls straight without steaming. It's as close to perfect as is currently available. One of the products of the year for me.

Disagree hutch, it sinks miles better IMO. I agree you still need putty but I found you need significantly less than with other coated braids.
