The old milk crates were a necessity to avoid the puddles on the floor at most grounds, don't think they had spirit levels when they built the old kop at St Andrews so it all ran down to the bottom
Welcome scratch I can't help as regards the syndicate but it may help someone more local if you were to give an idea of what size water and/or fish you are looking for
On the plus side you've hopefully got donkeys years ahead of you, sure you'll find what you're looking for.Cm makes a good point as regards canals though
I agree I think your best bet is to scour online maps mate and if you do find what you're looking for keep it to yourself because you'll have earned it
No worries mate I haven't come across a blues fan yet that would have swapped that cup for staying in the top flight. We're a strange breed us bluenoses
Lovely place Upton I just hope you don't get the chance to fish from your lounge mate or are you ok where you're going? Hoping so because like I say it's a really nice part of the world
Not much help I'm afraid mate but your best bet is to cycle the towpath as people aren't going to put information online, marinas would be a likely spot
England played well actually, van Basten was the difference. It's funny how time can change things,I remember being gutted at the time but now I just feel privileged to have seen him at his best
Seen some mainline baits that were a pretty decent match, might have been new grange if my memory serves (which it often don't) apologies to the op for straying from the withy rig Edit to say that my eyes ain't the best but they looked an ok match
Yes if the lakebed wasn't clean enough for a bottom bait then i'd use a pop up,reckon I'd still probably use the same pop up flavour as my free offerings though
. There will be others that disagree I'm sure, sure there are some that use the chod anywhere. As for the 360 that is pretty much universally classed as a big fish rig
