Gerrard said that Henderson had been named as penalty taker for the match but, obviously, Balotelli fancied it and took the ball off of him. There was a bit of a ding dong in the studio afterwards with Mark Hughes saying Balotelli was out of order and should be brought to task and Gordon Strachan saying it was all good because Balotelli scored. Gerrard (Sit on the fence diplomat as all players that are still playing ) sat there bemused watching I think he regretted going in the studio at the end of it
