  1. Have you had a look on Google Earth?
  2. Commercial lakes are often idiot magnets on Bank Holiday weekends. Good luck in your search
  3. Find a snail shell, fill it with paste & hair rig it
  4. The most effecient rig i've found for a pop up is the 360. I think a bottom bait rig would vary more depending on the lake bed.
  5. I liked the film. Did you just call me a fool?
  6. Thread a float stop onto the mainline, then the float & tie on a swivel. Then attach a lower strength hooklink.
  7. 6ft the last fish i had on zig was on 10ft hooklink i cast it of my unhooking mat i use 3oz inline lead with leadcore Why use leadcore on a 10ft zig?
  8. Stick to the mullet. It suits you
  9. I use Kamasan Carp Maxx hooks with this rig, though other patterns have worked too.
  10. It's one of the rigs i use. Very easy to tie & very effective, providing there's not too much debris on the lake bed.
  11. Who's taking the mick? I told the truth If you're happy fishing in puddles then good luck to you. Each to there own.
  12. It's a puddle Or to be more accurate, it's 2 puddles
  13. I can't comment on what's in there. I wouldn't fish there if it were free.
  14. It's an old image from Flash Earth. There's 2 pools now, the hole in the ground you can see is now the top pool.
  15. Yes, it's signposted. http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.618903&lon=-2.266795&z=16.3&r=0&src=msl
  16. Is this place called Parkside or something like that?
  17. Hui. Could you put your question onto this thread please? http://www.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=8852&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=drayton&start=0 It'll bring the thread back to the top & there should be some useful info on there for you
  18. where are they going to, It would be shame to take them out of there natural habitat It would be madness. Cyril Brewster thinks it would be a good idea to relocate Carp from their 68 acre home, that's full of natural food & receives very little pressure, to a 6 acre pond near by. Then make it day ticket. It's all about the money. Sod the Carp
  19. Wouldn't bother with Doddington. The fish may not be there for much longer.
  20. ESP Soft Ghost. Love the stuff
  21. It was my winter water for a few years. It took me a good few sessions to get my head around the place, but perseverence paid off
  22. Hello & welcome to the forum Is this suitable? http://www.fisheries.co.uk/hamptonsprings/index.htm I haven't been there as it's not my area, but it looks ok for the kids
  23. I wouldn't worry too much about the depth of silt. The problem is more the type of silt. Most of the lake is covered with the bad stuff, everytime you retrieve a hookbait it stinks. Add to that the amount of debris on the bottom, snags & lots of weed, any fish caught is a result
