My local tackle shop said only use crimps with fluoro Crimps are not designed to be used with fluoro, wychwood state that on there packaging as the fluoro is to brittle to stand upto crimping. i dont think i would trust crimps either even with normal mainline i wouldnt

i know what you mean lol. i think the key to catching on it is getting it at the right depth

ive caught a few on zig rigs but not many. you can put your line in a cup and cast that way but with a zig of 8-10ft i wouldnt have much trouble casting?? courtz is your man to ask

no mate it just balances it nicely. you should find that 1 piece of enterprise corn should just about lift a size 8 korda hook and balance perfect

i wouldnt fancy using them if they did i cant see them being very strong

ive been there ages ago when i used to coarse fish about 10 years ago. i dont think i would go and fish it cos of all the stupid rules and i think id rather sleep in my bivvy than a daft shed lol. and why do you have to buy your bait off them? just so they can get extra money? thats not right if i go fishing somewhere i want to use my own bait not some rip off stuff they make you buy.

ive tried snakebite and to be honest i dont like the stuff. its really thick and if you put your rig in the margin it stands out like a sore thumb. the stuff i like using the best is esp striptease or fox cortex

also they are in there if they havent lost weight cos when i went i had 5 all doubles upto 13lb http://www.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=27298 but i think hes lying about the 20s lol

how can you be so sure? humans can lose alot of weight without dying?

i think the bigger fish would lose weight with a big outbreak of fry as their wouldnt be a great deal for them to eat. you think them 6inch carp will be like phirannas and anything that goes in is gonna get muched and the bigger fish arent gonna get a sniff cos they dont go rushing in like the small ones do.

did you have any trouble with the birds taking your bait off the bottom? when i went i was firing boilies out and the [censored]s was diving down in 7ft of water and pinching them lol. i had a run on my one rod and thought ok its a small carp and it wasnt until it poped its head up in the margin i realised it was a bird lol

i would of just soaked a handful in a small tub just for hookbaits when you are struggling for a bite

can you night fish it? ive been ages ago just to have a look when my dad used to match fish. i can sort of remember a big wall at the one end where we parked the car and thats about it lol.

in this months crafty carper theres a token where you fish 48 hrs and get 48 hrs free but i think the free 48hrs is for a mate so you just pay half each. -

there is one of the lakes with carp in because i was thinking of going there for the week im not too sure which one it is though -
