    Just a few questions to the more experienced anglers regarding backleads. Is it ok to use them in deeper lakes? tight lines or slack? Is it ok to use them in weedy conditions? where to place them in the lake(just under the rod tip or further out)? Thanks in advance.

    Best I’ve used is the Nash cling on putty, I didn’t like the Korda stuff personally.

    Quality tip mate 👍. Was using a chod style hook and dropping the odd fish. Changed to these and literally every hook holds been nicely in the bottom lip.

    You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to fishing gear, I’ve had a few small bits from NGT and the majority of it has been rubbish and not lasted two minutes.

    Some amount of boilie there mate 👀, how long do you think that will last you?

    The tactic I have most confidence in through out the year is a good quality pop up on a multi rig with a scattering of boilie around it. Like yonny said the amount of boilie I put out would depend on fish activity. If that brings me no joy then I’d try particle.

    Surely a small brolly would be more practical, plus it would probably be just as light.

    I may be wrong here, but I have the tempest v2 which is a brolly. I think the composite is the bivvy with the back vents in it?
