    Winter Drinks

I do love a good fresh Coffee...but on chilly Fishing mornings it has to be a boiling Coffee...Summer is a Crisp freezing Dark Fruits. But recently started on Caramel Coffees...if a hint of a cold is on its way...Red hot water n JD...
  4. I love my Soniks at moment too...the Alivios do look nice and are well balanced with the Black Widows..
  5. There both happy with it but would prefer the Shimano/Att/Diawa... There both 2.75 tc...Fox 40mm ring...Shimmys 50mm rings. The Diawa reels are all black...the shimmy look old to..silver n gold. As you can't get a receiver for the Fox ones...but a single system...i would be happy with the ATTs.
  6. Hi All....2 mates swapped the following... 2 x Shimano Alivio DX 2.75 FOR 2 x Fox Horizon X3. 2 x Diawa Black Widow 5000A FOR 2 x Shimano 10000 xtea Baitrunners. 2 x ATTs with Reciever FOR 2 x Fox NX alarms. 1 x Vader X spod Rod FOR 1 x Shimano Alvio Spod Rod. Personally I think the mate with the Shimano/Diawa is abit silly as id keep them...and the mate receiving them is well over the moon. Thoughts....

  10. Cheers Yonny...googled it and good bit kit...bit pricy though...but if you want a kip at night.
  11. Hi All A mate has got 3 of the below Fox Micron NX Bite Alarms...but no receiver. Is there a receiver that links with these? I've contacted fox but no reply yet.. Would it be the below NX-R receiver ??
  12. There is still 1 or 2 who will help you out at the Wigan A.D...Tom young lad and a older woman (lady) who really does know her stuff...every time I've been in and with little en she always asks are we ok found what you need and she helped me out once or twice. 👍
  13. Yeh true...same happened with mine...think it was family run at 1st (North West Angling Centre) was an old church turned into a decent size shop. Good staff back then, but now 1 or 2 have been kept on and every time I've been it's kids running the shop.
  14. Just seen that Eric's Angling have merged with Angling Direct... Also trying to source Isotopes for a friend for his Rod Butts ...but can only see that Nash really do them.
  15. I'm no Wigan fan 💩...more on my boxing... Get some were for us all...
  16. Agree to that 1...
  17. I'm Lancashire (Wigan) too...i look within 30 mile radius...Shpock, Gumtree, Ebay. It's like the saying..."Buy cheap Buy twice". Go for something decent.
  18. Never done clothes...heard of doing luggage with the Spray Fabsil. Would it be any clothes or to Re-Proof waterproofs?
  19. I have always used Fabsil Gold...not just for waterproofing, as Gold also stops the fading due to the Sun's UV rays. You can use it straight in neat, but I've also used 5ltr Fabsil to 1ltr water. Make sure it's a good dry day to let it all take affect. Personally I use a BIG sponge and work my way from top to bottom, like washing ure car. But yeh, make sure bivvy/brolly is clean and dry before starting.
  20. I am now really REGRETTING selling the spod setup...this is something I am now going to get my teeth into more... Need to look for another setup now (preferblay SONIK) and distance sticks. Clipping up...hitting the Spot...BOSH 😂😂
  21. Yeh that's it...there simular though...think ures may have a bigger peak and mine has 1 more rib.
  22. My Mate wanted 1 too...think I got 1 of the last too... There some good buys on the sites...
  23. The brolly was 2nd hand... The bivvy was off Amazon...i think @smufter also got 1 ??? Carpzone there self is 279.99... It is an awsome bivvy but hard work on ure own...
  24. For days and quick sessions = Brolly for me. Nights I use my 2 man bivvy as 90% of time little lad comes too. My brolly is a Fox Supa Brolly mk2 60" £50 off a mate but no front or groundsheet...buying a wrap soon though. My 2man Bivvy is a Carpzone All Seasons 2man £125 (full system) Groundsheet Wrap and 2 lots of pegs. It mahoosive.
  25. Cyprinus is a good start for a new new bivvy...but second hand could throw up a bargain or 2 for that price... 👍👍
