  2. The light is obviously on & burning bright for the masses.. I'd go on a punt & say that a lot of anglers probably don't even think about where they came from or how they were reared - & probably don't even care.. I'd like to think that the more "commercial" type fisheries would likely go for fish like these because they are cheaper & ready to go? That doesn't make it okay ethically of course. As a side note, I read an article the other day about how intensive carp farming could become a viable food source for humans &/or animal feed in the near future. & I don't imagine that the the fishes wellbeing is going to be taken into such consideration in those circumstances.. So where do we draw the line? I guess we should be advocating fish welfare across the board, regardless.

    Today's thought.

Cooking curry from scratch, got the base gravy cooking made from fresh veg all blitzed in the blender, spices cooked in gee, chicken sitting in a nice tandoori rub to be added later, even make my own naan breads, fry a bit of onion in gee and add it to the finished rice, love that fresh smell of all the base ingredients simmering. Should be a mild madras when finished I would normally finish it balti style in a pan but I think I will add the meat to the base for a more one pot traditional style curry. I know it will be delicious either way.
