  1. I was only wrapping it once but have read to wrap it around clip 2 or 3 times

  2. Stick 50 yards or so of mono or AN other braid and try it again doing what you do now. Chuck it out , wind it in and check the line where you have it around the clip. sometimes if you wrap the braid around the clip a couple of times it helps to cushion the blow.

  4. Possible as thats where it's always broke. Not had it long and only used a handful of times Will have to take it down the field and have a few casts. Hopefully it's just a combination of cheap preloaded braid and user error. Maybe hitting the clip to hard. Was only casting 7 wraps

  5. In that case it's the braid that's dodgy. I've used all sorts of combinations in the past and I now just use 40lb braid straight through. Dead easy, no issues.

  6. I was doing 5 turn back to back grinner knot...30lb Korda Basix Spod braid to 50lb Arma Kord. It was the clip doing all the damage on my Sonik Reel,

If you fix it to a wooden board with a lip it will sit nicely on the work surface, and can be taken fishing and sat on your tackle box. Makes crumbing boilies easier and quicker than a Krusher
