How to hit that big cast?

Change leads to 3.5oz that should be all you need, maybe change to a distance or dumpy distance lead as well

  3. For a long stay... more than 48 hours a big bivvy is (to my mind is essential... ) up to 48 hours and I'll use a smaller 1 man Titan Hide... on a long stay I like to spread out, take more gear and be comfortable... a smaller bivvy makes me feel cramped on a long stay... that's my preference anyway... everyone's different I did a week on redmire in a JRC 2 man bivvy and that was fine... did a week on Les Quis in a 1 man and hated it....

  4. You done much on number 1? I'm on there now, got one rod to margins of far tree bank and one in open water just at the edge of the rocks about 6-6.5 wraps. My adjustable zig kits are only due to be delivered today so unfortunately can't give that a go just yet but it's not exactly nice hot weather today anyway so I'll remain confident!!

  5. Thanks for all the replies guys, I think I might get some wellies, for general purpose usage, I have massive calfs though, I have found some Dunlop ones for 13 quid that are lower for wide calfs has anyone tried these?

  6. Crocs in the summer for slipping on when getting out of the bag but still take the wellies, leave the Crocs home in the winter tho..the Navatas wellies are Sooo light and they come with a liner which you can wear in your bag... I hate doing muddy bootlaces up.
