Yes the lake is small but its mostly marginal fishing not silty clay bottom smooth as you like no features or snags so ur bait becomes the feature yes the owner isnt everyones cup of tea but I found him very knowledgeable about carp fishing and the carp in his lake. The place is very quiet secluded and at £35 for 24hrs and the chance of chunk to rival most anglers pb why not give it a try the place in my opinion is spot on but I like fishing tight to margins and snags and little bays thats my thing not everyones I know but if its urs then this place isnt too be.missec

Put an order in mate , bit of selection . heading over to another lake in France early October ( Poisson Chat free ) this time so thought I would see what the fuss is about . Certainly makes for good reading on there website. Come on the big Girls 🇫🇷 🎣

The price range of between £100.00-£125.00 has got to be the most hotly contested around, with most of the big brands offering decent rods. As Framey suggests above, a visit to a well stocked tackle shop will be your best bet, there's nothing like actually holding a rod in your hands. Personally, I like Wychwood rods. I think they are great value for money and the new "Extremis" read well and are competitively priced. But get out and have a look if you can.
