    What carp rods?

Harrison torrix t.e in 12.6 would be my recommendation, they're soft enough in the tip to handle close range stuff but can put a 4oz lead well over 100 yards

  2. Years ago a pal of mine was fishing three hemp seeds threaded along the length of a fine hair on a simple hair rig, introduced with a mesh bag of seeds. It was similar to what you're doing there in that there was no bait of significant weight/mass to aid rig mechanics, it was as close to fishing a bare hook as I've seen anyone do. I remember thinking he was nuts until he bagged up on carp and tench.

  3. had a bit of a mess about today , with just using 10lb mono and a split shot to sink it , I was surprised to see that the rig will sit upright , the hook is just tied on with a blood knot and the whole lot pulled through a popup and pulled up so the knot just sits into the bait , it does wave around a bit , so by using a stiff hook length im sure that it would work for those fish that only mouth the bait rather than sucking the whole thing in , for those that are interested its a size 6 hook and a 15mm popup .

    Baitdrones

Drones are already banned on my water, the guys on Carpcast mentioned that more waters are starting to ban all electronic aids, such as baitboats and fish finders? Saying that, baitboats have been banned on Kingsbury for a number of years now, still see people using them though.

  6. A number of years ago on here, we had a discussion on fishing over hemp with a bare hook.
