    I'd buy a nice mature lake .

    Chest waders

Just got the pros waders and must say very impressed. Got them for £39 delivered on eBay and have used them a few times already. They seem very well made and are half the price of the equivalent Vass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dream kit

Not much of my actual kit I would change, it's by no means the best or the worst come to that, but I'm comfortable and happy with it. I've decided what I really need is fishing Sherpa's to get it all to my swim, the downside to fishing some less manicured lakes is the paths can be long, narrow and tricky especially in winter.

    Chest waders

Don't leave them rolled up in a bag all winter, hang them up to avoid cracks forming or you will get leaks, same for hip waders.

    Dream kit

Thinking about it I don't think I'd buy much at all. All my kit is bought because I believe it to be the best on the market to suit my specific requirements. I'm definitely getting one of those ESP Lo Pro Brollys when they're released but at £150 I don't need to win the lottery for that. Maybe I'd upgrade a couple of bits of luggage to some posh Cotswold Aquarius gear for tart factor, but that's about it I reckon.

    Catfish in winter?

Agree with all replies. Cats are not often caught during the colder months although you might want to try using liver as your bait. Ian
