This is possibly the most obvious question to all of you guys who have been carp fishing a while, but has anyone got a good link to show me how to tie the above. Ive done a long search but can't really find a step by step guide?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

This aint my specialist subject but ive done a few basicly you tie them as you would any basic hook lenth it just means you have to pull the whole lenth of the zig through the eye of the hook and then tie a quick link at the lenth you require ( for a fixed lenth one ) hope this helps

Depending on what length your after, I tie a 4-5ft hooklength as normal then use a fox bolt bubble (or any similar float) and then your lead weight.

This way you can use it at different levels in the water without retying a rig.

Also it helps when fishing a 10ft+ zig as its easier to cast and play/land fish.

i was bored so i drew a nice picture
