daveb69 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 hello all I'm off to France at the end of the month and after reading the catch reports, maize seems to be the order of the day. will it be the flaked maize or is there another kind. i find it hard to imagine how you would place flaked maize on your hair rig. bluebirdjones Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I think its French Maize your after I get mine from here £7.95 for 20kg. French maize is a very popular particle used by anglers. French maize can be fed in quantity into your swim for a carpet feed effect, and can also be used on the hook. It can be very effective when used in conjunction with multiple magic or red band and is a lot harder than Sweetcorn. French Maize is great for use all year round. http://www.gjwtitmuss.co.uk/MAIZE/pid1878/cid601/TITMUSSFRENCHMAIZE20KG.asp Quote

Guest fenboy Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Be sure to take a back up bait as many french waters have been done to death on maize and it is rarely as effective once its been used for a while . Quote
