Cheers, with the higher temps forecast for the back end of the week it should thaw out all over. Just hope for the best regarding any fish kills, i've been told of 4 around shropshire and a few up chesire way already.

had my 2nd session this month ,first time 1 tench 7lb then been out today and had another tench and first carp of year 16lb common.hopefully they have started to move?no deaths over winter period have been reported.

Congrats mate. Was meant to have been up there myself over the next few days but family and what not have set me back, nice to know there have been no deaths, it was still near enough fully frozen last time i was there.

I went to Wellington tackle shop yesterday, and behind the counter there were two pictures of big carp one of the was a perfectly scaled linear! And i asked the chap where they were caught from as i recognised the guy in the photo i think his name is liam, and the chap said it was from the Flash! Go down take a look if you want some proof they were good fish!

Yeah Liam had the zip linear last year, a few of us have had it including me and my lad.

Congrat on the common Ian, was thinking about going up during the week but the bottom was turning over and it looked horrid so i went perching instead. Got a new plan of attack for this year which involves a new super top secret if you find out i will have to kill you bait lol.
