im quite new to carping but im well into it and am really enjoying my fishing. after watching the korda underwater carping dvd iv learned that one of the most impotant things about rigs is to pin the line down behind them as to not spook the fish. i do use rig tube but i thikn a flying back lead would work well with the tube and od the job well. could someone please tell me how i should go about how to rig them up.

yeah, dont over tighten when using flying backleads, I think anyway if you do it will causes the line to lift off the bottom and the lead will move back down towards the rig somewhat. If you find its flying back too far or theres some weed in the way, tie a stop knot with some powergum or use a rig stop the distance you want the backlead to fly back.

I find that the Fox backleads with the flouro cord attached are great. Like another member said though, don't overtighten the line or you risk the line pinging out of the little clasp.

yeah m8 i use the fox flying backleads and the captives, I attach the chord holder to my pod and then peg the chord down half a foot away from the leads themselves then they wont go flying off when u strike.
