I've never needed a bivvy light when my alarms go off, and half the time I don't even bother with a bivvy light at all. About the only thing I use a light at night for is to read, or actually unhooking and weighing. I play fish in the dark and that includes netting them. The Sonik SKS 3+1 set, probably without doubt the best selling 1st set/starter alarms to go for. Also cater for all ranges of anglers. elmoputney
I had the sonik sk set, hated the light everytime I got a run in the night it would go off as I woke up it would dazzle me and I wouldn't be able to acclimatise to the dark, gimmick if you ask me. Just have a head torch and a light for when you need one. yonny and salokcinnodrog

I have a magnetic bivvy light which is enough to read by, tie rigs or make PVA accoutrements, and the headlight is usually hanging from the sounder box if I need it. I barely used my light last night. If at all tbh just attracts mosquitos and other flying pests, yonny and salokcinnodrog
framey
I only use a head torch if I need to and that’s usually on red or green as either don’t ruin night vision ihave found yonny
